Diese Wohnung mit viel Licht liegt an einem ruhigen Innenhof im 1. Stock eines Quergebäudes aus der Vorkriegszeit. Insgesamt sind 6 Zimmer, 2 Bäder und eine große Wohnküche verfügbar.

This apartment with lots of light is located on the second floor of a prewar back building behind a quiet courtyard. There are a total of 6 rooms, 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen available.

Die große Gemeinschaftsküche liegt direkt hinter dem Eingangsbereich der Wohnung und bildet ihren Mittelpunkt. Sie bietet genügend Platz, um mit allen Bewohnern gemütlich zu sitzen und gleichzeitig kochen zu können. Neben dem Esstisch und der Küchenzeile gibt es auch ausreichend Stauraum für eigene Lebensmittel. Selbstverständlich ist die Ausstattung vollständig mit einem Herd, 2 großen Kühlschränken, einem Geschirrspüler, einer Mikrowelle und allem, was zum Kochen und Essen benötigt wird wie z.B. Töpfen, Tellern, Besteck, einem Schneidebrett, Messern usw. Selbst ein kleiner Fernseher ist vorhanden.

Zu beiden Seiten geht ein Flur ab mit jeweils mit 3 Zimmern und einem Bad am Ende. Im großen Bad steht eine Waschmaschiene für alle Bewohner.

Die Wohnung befindet sich im multikulturellen und von Touristenströmen weitgehend noch unberührten Stadtteil Wedding, das für viele Berliner dem gehypten Kreuzberg bereits den Rang abgelaufen hat. So befinden sich unweit der Wohnung solche Geheimtipps wie das “Franzosenbecken” mit seinem dazugehörigen, wunderschönen Kanal, dem Flüßchen Panke.

The large open kitchen is located right behind the entrance of the apartment and serves as its central meeting point. There is plenty of space here to sit comfortably with all residents and cook at the same time. Next to the dining table and across the kitchen shelves there is extra storage space for everyone’s food. The kitchen is of course also fully equipped with a stove, 2 large refrigerators, a dishwasher, microwave and everything needed for cooking and eating such as pots and pans, dishes, knives, a cutting board, silverware etc. There is even a small TV.

The hallway on either side of the kitchen takes you to 3 bedrooms each with a bathroom at the end. The larger bathroom also has a washing machine for all tenants.

The apartment is located in the colorful district of Wedding which so far is largely untouched by the crowds of tourists which have spoiled Kreuzberg for so many Berliners. Some of the secrets you find here are not even far from the apartment such as the park of the “French pool” with its associated, beautiful little creek, the river Panke.
